Rachel Foster: B2B Copywriter Specializing in Online Sales and Lead Generation
Many of my clients tell me they have a hard time finding a copywriter who understands the complex nature of their B2B products and services. As a B2B copywriter who specializes in technology and software, I help my clients skyrocket their online response rates, clearly communicate complex messages, fill their events and increase the opt-ins for their white papers and product demos. Specific examples of how I have helped my clients can be found on my copywriting case study and testimonial pages.
I have a BA in English from the State University of New York at Buffalo and over 11 years of experience writing copy that helps businesses meet and exceed their projected marketing and financial benchmarks.
My background includes:
- Working with technology and software companies such as Cvent and Softchoice. Click here to view a more extensive client list.
- Certifications in web design and development from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Management. This means I not only write copy, but I also understand how copy and design work together to drive online sales.
- Publishing the monthly Fresh Marketing e-newsletter to show B2B marketers how to improve their communications to generate more leads and sales.
- Staying on the cutting edge of marketing. I share my thoughts on the B2B marketplace in my guest blog posts for The Content Marketing Institute, B2Bbloggers.com and The Social CMO. I also contributed a chapter to The Social CMO’s upcoming book.
Marriage brought me from the U.S. to Canada in 2007, and I decided to take advantage of the exciting opportunities for entrepreneurs in Toronto by launching Fresh Perspective Copywriting. I received a business start-up grant from The Province of Ontario.
I have studied B2B copywriting with American Writers & Artists Incorporated (AWAI) and received second place in their 2009 “B2B Rising Star” copywriting competition.
When I’m not creating persuasive copy for clients, I like to get away from my computer and do something active. My husband and I are avid swing dancers. We’re involved with Toronto Lindy Hop, a non-profit organization dedicated to the progression and preservation of Lindy Hop and swing dancing in Toronto.
